The year 2023 was one of radical change…..not only did I move to an entirely new state but I also entered the wild new world of Radio! Learned a lot, saw some amazing wildlife, and gained a new appreciation for what cold truly is. (For the record, anything below -25 degrees is very very cold)
Learning a new set of computer skills is always interesting, and Adobe Audition is, like all Adobe products alternately maddening and fun. Sound effects are very cool to add and create from scratch! Whether recording in the studio or live during a local event, this was never boring and I am very appreciative of the opportunity and all I learned!
Jenny’s Kitchen – a local restaurant in Havre, MT specializing in homecooked goodness! Their food is delicious and it was always fun working with them to come up with fun commercials.
This was recorded in the restaurant. We took advantage of the local Fair to change up the advertising.
CHS Big Sky – I wrote this ad to highlight the range of products and also have some fun with wordplay.
Big Flat Fun Day – is a local celebration in Turner, MT every year. Some of the best entertainment and food ever!
This was tricky because there was just so much to talk about during the event.
Ads I wrote that were recorded by others – sometimes a company preferred a different voice, or someone else was a better fit.
JM Donovan is a local jewelry store with the same “voice” for decades.My coworker Tony recorded this ad.
