When I was asked to begin creating content for our company Instagram profile I knew it was an exciting chance!
While I remain a word-oriented thinker, the way I look at the world around me has changed. Now, my eyes are drawn to visual methods of story telling – and finding ways to capture moments via snapshots.
All pictures were taken with my iPhone. I used the program WordSwag to compile most of these images because it provides just enough editing options without becoming overwhelming. Also, the app works perfectly on my ipad and my iphone! I do use PhotoShop / InDesign and other Adobe programs for complex visual edits but for social media pics you want to add text to, WordSwag just works. Another suite of editing tools I highly recommend is Kapwing.com.
